- The P12 model is an electric actuator designed for load requirements ranging from 26500 to 31000 in lbs. The actuator comes standard with two auxiliary switches (Form C, 10A @ 250 VAC), an internal low power heater, a NEMA 4X environmental rating, and in 230/3/60, 380/3/60 or 480/3/60 supply voltages. The P11/12 mechanical connections are ISO5211 compliant utilizing an F16 bolt pattern and an Round 75 mm female drive. The P11/12 Series can be ordered as an on/off or two position model that can also be used in bump/jog applications. Or it can be ordered with an advanced internal proportional control card that accepts a wide range of control signals, generates multiple feedback signals, and has look-ahead fault prevention. The -XMCC version does NOT have a motor control center (MCC) attached to the actuator, and is designed to be used with existing MCC's. The -XMCC versions are designed to operate with 120 VAC control circuits from existing MCC's.
- Note: Because these units are manufactured without an integral MCC, care must be taken during installation to make sure the local phasing is correct for this actuator. This product is shipped at MID-STROKE position to allow up to 20 seconds run time after power-up to determine if the actuator is running in the correct direction. If the MCC is issuing a CLOSE command, the actuator must rotate in a CW direction. If the actuator is NOT rotating in the proper direction, IMMEDIATELY remove power and switch two of the three wires on the motor terminal block inside the actuator. If this verification is not completed within 20 seconds from mid-stroke position, it is possible that the actuator will be damaged due to the motor driving past the respective electrical travel limit switches.
